If it were first quality a mohawk rep would have looked at it along with the store.
Some installers use a spike instead of power stretching which will leave holes in the carpet.
Could be the owners knew it was improper installation or seconds to begin with, therefore it would have been sold with no warranty.
Knowing the price will tell me a lot.
Nothing wrong with seconds, lots of them are off shade or a variance from the stock product but perfectly usable.
